RefWorks is a Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database by importing references from text files or online databases and instantly format bibliographies in a variety of styles (APA, MLA, Turabian, etc.) RefWorks has three primary functions: Storing citations (either those you have imported from databases or manually input yourself), creating bibliographies, and creating in-text references.

To get started:

  1. Connect to Refworks
  2. Click on Sign up for an individual account.
  3. Follow the instructions for creating an account.
