How do I Find a Scholarly Article?
The best way to find a scholarly article is by searching in one of the library's subscription databases. These databases contain thousands of scholarly journals, and full-text articles. There are many databases to choose from in each discipline. If you aren't sure where to start, here are a few suggestions:
- Type in your search on the main library page. Check the box that says "Scholarly Articles Only."
- Look at Databases by Subject to find Best Bet resources for your topic.
- Look at the subject guide most aligned with your topic for suggested databases.
- Look at the descriptions of databases on the Databases A-Z list to determine which database you would like to search in.
